About this event

This presentation draws a compelling parallel between the aviation industry’s use of checklists and automation and how these tools can dramatically improve efficiency, compliance, and consistency in property management.

Leveraging insights from the speaker’s background as an airline pilot and property management company owner, the presentation illustrates how standardized processes - supported by tools like LeadSimple and Zapier can prevent costly mistakes, improve training, and ensure regulatory compliance. It highlights the importance of monitoring KPIs, encouraging anonymous feedback, and fostering a collaborative team culture through practices like shadowing, quarterly reviews, and recurrent training.

The overarching message: while checklists and automation are critical, success ultimately hinges on people, teamwork, and a strong system of accountability.
