Class Description:

This intensive, hands-on program equips pipe trades professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to safely and effectively move, set, and secure Process Tools and Industrial Machinery. Over the course of four full training days, participants will learn best practices for:

-Identifying hazards and implementing effective safety controls
-Conducting site and move path assements in complex environments.
-Inspecting and selecting proper rigging equipment
-Planning and executing lifts, including center-of-gravity calculations
-using fork-lifts, jacks, dollies, skates, and air skates for controlled moves.
-coordinating communication and hand signals with crews and operators.

Through demonstrations, guided practice and scenario based projects, this journeyman level course will build confidence in both technical execution and team coordination. Graduates will leave with a strong foundation in rigging safety, equipment handling, and problem-solving, preparing them to contribute effectively at the Tool Move Jobsite.

Class Cancellations: If this class has less than 6 students registered at the close of registration the class may be canceled. If the class is cancelled, you will be notified via email and any fees paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

A Note on State Credits: State Credit will only be earned for courses that have been approved by the state. If a class is approved for credit, it will be noted in the class description. To receive state credit for a class you must attend all hours of the class. Courses are approved by the state for a fixed number of credit hours. These hours cannot be edited when submitting license numbers for credit.
