These are private sessions perfect for a bachelorette party, birthday celebration, team builder, or any other special occasion, with just your party, and the animals! No fences, and no sharing them with other people! You will get up close (literally in your lap if you want) with our super friendly dwarf goats and their friends; 2 Scottish Highland Cows, fancy chickens, barn cats, gentle farm dogs, huge fluffy bunny, bee hives, and giant tortoise! Depending on which event you choose to book, all the animals attend each one regardless.

Want more than an hour with the animals? Come stay with us at our 1870's Farmhouse Farm Stay

You're welcome to bring drinks, and or celebratory food like cupcakes or cake, plates, cups, etc. We do have a few goat safe tables! But we don't advise bringing food food, it takes up time folks have with the animals... and the animals also wanna eat it, lol. Most folks go out to eat before or after, we are in downtown Summerville so lots of nearby options. You're also welcome to bring some decor if you wish, like balloons, streamers etc. And we do recommend close toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty just in case!

Farm Experiences

Please note: We do have a max of 12 children at each event, after that it tends to get a little wild for our little farm, other than toddler goat yoga since each child has a parent with them. All guests are required to be counted in the headcount, except infants 2 and under are free.

About Us

We are husband and wife, Chris & Jenna, that grew up in Hawaii, moved South, and started a little urban farm at our historic farmhouse in 2017. Summerville is where we now call home, which is a historic town about 30 min outside of Charleston. Many folks are surprised with our mini-farm being in an urban setting. We are unique because this city was built up around our 1870's farmhouse. This area was once all farm land and we are the little pocket thats left. We also offer guest rooms in our historic farmhouse as a farm stay for overnight guests. Guests can enjoy a unique urban farm, are invited to our events, and can play with the animals pretty much anytime! In addition, in 2020 we bought 23 acres and built a tiny off-grid treehouse in Western NC, and built a pasture for our adult highland cows. We now rent that out to guests as well! Guests get the 23 acres and the cows all to themselves! Visit our website to see our farm stays! www.flowertowncharm.com

Things to Know

We ask you wear close toes shoes, bring water or drinks if you wish, and you may bring cut up apples or carrots to feed the animals! But this brings out the inner "pig" and they will be more crazy than cuddly.

Please don't arrive more than 15 minutes early, we sometimes have back to back events and want every guest to have their time with the animals.

*IMPORTANT: PARKING is limited here at "Flowertown Charm" and is designated for disabled or overnight staying guests. Please ONLY park at the neighboring church in the basketball court parking lot at 255 Stallsville (Loop) Rd. DO NOT park at the endodontics parking lot or the main church lot, they will tow you. After you park at the church basketball lot, walk to our farmhouse on 225 Stallsville (Corner of Stallsville & Long Needle Lane), look for a Historic White House with Red shutters and Black Fountain with a white Goat Sign out front. Use the white gates on the left side of the house with the farm sign to enter the farm yard. Please close and latch gates behind you. We will come greet you when you arrive!

Frequently asked questions

What if it's going to rain?

We will most likely reschedule the class as goats HATE the rain! We usually will make the call 12-24 hours in advance and will reach out to guests via the email they registered with if we do cancel and reschedule. If you cannot wait that long please email us jenna@flowertowncharm.com to refund.

Are there baby goats?

We try to have baby goats born every Fall & Spring! Follow us on social media for updates! @flowertowncharm

Are you handicap accessible?

Our experiences are completely outdoors and in the grass, with a few stepping stones to go over from the front to the backyard. Our home also has stairs and we have a tiny bathroom that isn't very handicap friendly. We have had folks in wheelchairs and walkers attend before, it just depends...

Do you have bee hives?

Yes we do, although they are in a separate area from our guests area, bring a Epi-pen if you are allergic please.

Can I bring my dog?

NO! Our animals will get spooked and not want to mingle with guests. Also our farm dogs will protect our animals and want to guard them and cause a lot of frustration

Can I bring food or drinks?

No outside human food is allowed, but you can BYOB. You can also bring sliced carrots or apples to feed the animals!

How can I contact you for a reschedule?

jenna@flowertowncharm.com

Where do we park?

*IMPORTANT: PARKING is limited here at our farmhouse for overnight & handicap guests only. Please park at the church (ONLY in the back lot by the basketball courts) located at 255 Stallsville (Loop) Rd and walk a block over to 225 Stallsville. Our farmhouse is located on the corner of Stallsville Rd
