On behalf of the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) and the Art of Living Foundation, you are cordially invited to attend a private event, ‘I Stand for Peace’ - Creating Compassion and Resilience in Youth and Community, with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Community Leaders of the beautiful city of Pomona on June 13.

Gurudev is a global humanitarian, spiritual leader and peacemaker. He has touched the lives of more than half a billion people worldwide, bringing peace to individuals, communities, societies and nations.

A worldwide sense of helplessness and hopelessness has been caused by the pandemic, inflation, and continuous reports of growing violence across the globe. The sense of loss, grief and social isolation from the pandemic have weighed heavily on the human psyche. According to the World Health Organization, the biggest challenge of the pandemic has been on mental health.

During this private event, we will discuss approaches and methods for uplifting human values and fostering compassion and resilience within our homes, schools, and communities.

There will be an opportunity to ask Gurudev questions on these topics, or other matters that you may wish to discuss. Gurudev will also personally lead the attendees in a guided meditation.

In these turbulent times, it is vital for us to take action and stand up for peace. By taking this stance we can make a positive difference in our communities and the world. Our collective intention, vision, and action for peace can contribute towards solutions to the crises that the world is experiencing.
