About this event
Are you curious about specialty coffee in general? Do you have specific questions about an esoteric brewing method? Are your espresso shots bitter and thin? Dawson Taylor's coffee educator is here for you! Anything you'd like to learn about in the realm of coffee is up for discussion if you reserve a private coffee class. Regardless of your experience with and knowledge about coffee, our class will provide you with the information and training you seek in a friendly, inviting atmosphere.
Each class is developed based on your learning goals, so you set the curriculum and then let Dawson Taylor's coffee educator do the rest. Some past classes have been

Classes can range from 1-4 students, and all will get hands-on learning experience. Each student will also receive a 12 oz bag of any specialty coffee.
To sign up for a private coffee class, purchase the class here, then email the coffee educator at Amanda@DawsonTaylor.com. Amanda will help define your goals and design a curriculum just for you.
Classes are $80 for the first student and $40 more for each additional student. Large groups can book private workshops as well; email Amanda for more information about that offering.
Come to Dawson Taylor Roast's coffee lab to enjoy a welcoming, interactive space in which to up your brewing game, geek out over equipment, or just talk about all things coffee as you get overly caffeinated.

That's for you to decide! Email the coffee educator to decide on a date and time that works for both of you. Classes can be held Monday-Sunday at almost any waking hour.
Classes can be individual, for one, or hold as many as four, depending on your preference.
That's somewhat up to you! The coffee educator can give some lesson examples, or if there's a specific topic you'd like to learn more about, or technique you'd like to try, then discuss that with the coffee educator when you set up your class.
You get one hour of individualized instruction about the coffee topic of your choice, held in Dawson Taylor's coffee lab. Additionally, you'll be allowed to choose a 12 oz bag of the coffee of your choice from among Dawson Taylor's full range of coffees to take home with you and brew.
