Volunteers help select books for incarcerated individuals as outlets for education and entertainment based on their letters to the program!

Meet on the steps to Richard's Hall at 5:15pm on Tuesday (1/20) to Uber to the program together at 1306 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA (cost covered).

More information about the event:

Prison Book Program is an organization that sends books to incarcerated men and women all over the nation. Volunteers will help to read hand-written requests, by people in prison, pick appropriate books, and aid in packaging the books to be mailed.

Here is Prison Books mission statement:
“The mission of the Prison Book Program is to support people in prison by sending them free books and print resources that meet their specific needs and interests. We also provide a highly engaging volunteer experience that connects people inside and outside of the American prison system.”
