How do I get tickets for the ferry?

Ferry tickets can be purchased online or at the terminal. Ferry fares are $5 round trip for most people, but free for children under 12, IDNYC holders, military personnel, Governors Island members, seniors 65 and older, NYCHA residents, and community organizations.

When is the ferry free?

All passengers ride free on Saturdays and Sundays before 11am.
