This WorldPride, the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) is dialing up the color with Prism at Anthem Row — a celebration of fashion, art, and fierce self-expression. Mark your calendars for two weekends: May 31 – June 1 and June 7 – 8, from 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. each day. Whether you’re remixing your wardrobe, voguing your heart out, or just basking in the rainbow glow, this is your space to live out loud, shop sustainably, and show off your true colors. FREE and all are welcome!

Prism at Anthem Row is made possible thanks to the incredible support of our partners: Global Fashion Exchange (GFX), the DC Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD), Rogues Gallery Presents, The Westin DC Downtown, and the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs (MOLGBTQA). Together, we’re creating a one-of-a-kind experience that uplifts local talent, champions sustainability, and celebrates the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community that makes D.C. shine.

🎨 ART INSTALLATIONS - Be wowed by The Prism, the latest aerial art sculpture, an interactive art piano, and a rainbow thread canopy created by renowned artist HOT TEA. It's art you can pose under, walk through, and be part of.

🧵 SUSTAINABLE MAKERS MARKET & SWAP SHOP - Shop 25+ local makers crafting repurposed fashion and accessories all day at our marketplace or bring your own gently-used clothing and accessories to swap your way to a new, sustainable look during our Swap For Your Life clothes swap. 🗣️ PRISM SPEAKS - Our main-stage moment for storytelling, truth-telling, and idea-sharing, featuring powerful panels and guest speakers who are shaping the future of fashion, sustainability, and queer culture.

🍹 DRAG BAR - Sip signature tropical cocktails, bask in the glow of art-inspired design, and vibe to DJ-spun beats while drag royalty brings the glam.

💪 DRAG ZUMBA - On May 31 from 2:00 pm - 2:45 p.m. and June 7 from 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m., shake, shimmer, and werk your cardio with a Zumba class by our friends from Equinox Gym served with drag flair and high-energy Pride vibes. NOTE: Available on a first-come, first-served basis while space lasts.

🎁 PARTNER AUCTION - On May 31 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Treat yourself and bid on exclusive items and experiences from our fabulous partners — think luxe stays from The Westin, fitness perks from Equinox, fine dining from Truluck’s, and more.

👗 ReFASHION SHOW - On May 31 from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., catch the catwalk alive with upcycled designer looks and bold creations from D.C. designers. Major inspiration, guaranteed.

💃 VOGUE DANCE PARTY - On June 8 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., the category is: pure fabulousness. Strut, pose, and celebrate the art of self-expression with the ultimate dance party featuring special guest DJ Kevin Aviance.

✨ WORKSHOPS - Get hands-on with photography, modeling, clothes mending, and bedazzling workshops designed to help you craft, create, and sparkle up your style. NOTE: Workshops are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No sign-up or registration required — just show up and join in while space lasts! See Workshop Schedule in the Agenda above.

🪩 DANCE PARTY - Each night ends with a high-energy dance party hosted by local legends, drag royalty, and DJs who know how to keep the floor hot.

Swap For Your Life

Here's your chance to refresh your wardrobe in a fun, sustainable way. Bring a few items from your closet that you’re ready to part with, and trade them in for pieces that are new to you. It’s all about giving clothes a second life, cutting down on waste, and making fashion more thoughtful all while celebrating Pride and community. Good for the planet, good for your closet.

Here’s How It Works

• Step 1 – Bring It: On Saturday, May 31 or June 7 from 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., bring up to 5 items (clothes, shoes, or accessories) to the Swap For Your Life check-in. We’ll screen everything for quality experience. For each approved item, you’ll earn 1 credit–your swap currency! Items not accepted can be taken back or left for recycling.
• Step 2 – Swap It: On Sunday, June 1 or June 8 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., bring your credits and shop the Swap! Browse the racks, pick your new favorite pieces, and check out using your credits. Simple and sustainable.

Rules of the Swap

• Items should be clean and folded or pressed.
• Items should be of good quality with a long potential lifespan and likely to be valued by others.
• Items should be free of faults or with minor faults that are easy to repair e.g. a missing button.
• No underwear or swimwear.
• Ultimate discretion is ours as to whether or not items are accepted into the swap.
• If an item is not accepted into our swap, we can facilitate recycling through our chosen partner if you choose not to take back the item.
