Primary Meet-Up Thursday 16th October 2025

An invitation to all Music Leads from York and North Yorkshire primary schools to attend our next primary music meetup: 'Confidence in delivering composition in the classroom'.

Throughout the session, hands-on music making will be created by all, so get ready to have fun and experience others composition skills.

We aim to show you basic techniques and knowledge when delivering a composition lesson, plus support in achieving the most out of your Scheme of Learning. We will be joined by Rosie from Charanga Platform, to enhance composition using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) technology.

All while of course, enjoying cake and tea.

We encourage all colleagues to bring and share a topic or scheme that works well in their school.
