Join us for the official opening reception of Pride Through the Lens, a powerful art exhibition celebrating the intersection of Latine

and LGBTQ+ identity through photography, costume design, and cultural storytelling.

Location: The Yards Collective, Rochester, NY
Admission: Free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.

This event is part of First Friday Rochester, a monthly citywide art initiative that showcases local talent and creative spaces.

Pride Through the Lens features the collaborative work of Afro-Latina photographer Tali Conic and costume designer BadMoonYoyo, along with contributions from models, stylists, other artists and community members. The exhibition explores identity, resilience, and the beauty of representation through bold visual storytelling.

Opening night will include:

  • A first look at the exhibition
  • Opportunities to meet the artists
  • Music, light refreshments, and community engagement

This is the first stop in a multi-week exhibition series that will travel to various locations across Rochester ad beyond. Stay tuned for future dates and venues.
