Italy has a diverse set of terroirs and traditions, and the country’s varied geography contribute to a myriad of regions. Climate is also a factor in presenting how diverse these regions are, you have alpine conditions in the north and a Mediterranean in the south. Italy is also Europe's oldest wine country, with a history dating back almost 4,000 years. There are more varieties of grapes grown in Italy than all other European countries combined! We will review 6 wines and review the specific terroir and climate for each.
