Who is this field trip for?

This trip is for students K-12 to be dropped off with signed parent/guardian waiver for a field trip with the Forest & Tree team to the Presidio. We'll join Presidio staff for a day for adventure and exploring outdoors.

A water bottle, lunch, snacks as we'll be hiking, and layers for the weather as it'll be chillier and maybe foggy in the morning and hopefully warmer by the afternoon.

This is a free event for kids. We have a suggested donation to help support Forest & Tree programs into the future.

Presidio Birding and Meadows Outpost Field Trip with Forest & Tree

Overview

Let's explore the beauty of birding at the Presidio. We'll hike along Crissy Marsh then head to the new Outpost and Field Station!

Please pack a lunch, comfortable shoes to walk outdoors, and layers/jacket for weather by the San Francisco Bay. This event is approriate for elementary-middle-high school students, and students can be dropped off at ArtHaus for a free bus with Forest & Tree to the Presidio.

We will go on a bilingual bird hike as a crew in the morning, the stop for lunch and play at the new Meadows Outpost, before a trip to the amazing Field Station.
