Prescribed Burn Planning Basics Workshop

Overview

This workshop is for landowners with little or no experience in preparing for a prescribed fire, but want to start burning.

andowners who are interested in using prescribed fire on their property and have little or no experience in preparing a prescribed fire plan are invited to attend this training. Participants will be guided through the process by experienced prescribed burning practitioners and will learn how to set prescribed burning objectives, identify smoke sensitive areas, determine desired weather conditions, evaluate fuel types, and plan for advanced burning preparations.


Light refreshments will be provided.
