Prepare & Repair Symposium

By Afrimerican Academy

Overview

All roads lead to Hyde Park for community healing and discussion as we prepare to repair our beloved City of Boston.

🌿 Prepare & Repair Symposium

Restoring Our City, Together

All roads lead to Hyde Park for this powerful community gathering focused on healing, collaboration, and collective impact.

Start your day in peace, reflection, and renewal. The Prepare & Repair Symposium begins with a morning community healing session featuring sound healing, guided meditation, and acupuncture — designed to center the body and spirit before our day of collaboration and dialogue.

Afterward, join the Afrimerican Academy and partners for a powerful gathering of nonprofits, advocates, and community leaders focused on the theme “Collaboration as Restoration.” Together, we’ll explore how unity and cooperative leadership can heal the social, economic, and cultural fractures of our city.

A highlight of the day will be the Hyde Park Equity Tour Virtual Preview, showcasing our collective work to build an inclusive cultural and economic roadmap for Boston 250 — connecting stories of housing, heritage, environment, and equity.

🌍 About BRL88

Boston Redline 88 (BRL88) is a month-long cultural campaign produced by the Afrimerican Academy (@afrimericanone) celebrating 88 years since the 1938 redlining map of Boston.
