Prenatal & Childbirth Class

Expectant parents are invited to join us for an informative and fun prenatal class at DeTar Hospital North, 101 Medical Drive, Victoria during one of the class series dates in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November 2026. Each class in the series of three classes starts at 6 p.m. at DeTar North’s Garden Cafe.  Whether you're a first-time parent or adding to your family, this class is perfect for you. Learn about pregnancy and childbirth from our experienced healthcare professionals. Get your questions answered and meet other expecting parents. DeTar North’s childbirth education class uses a comprehensive and engaging approach to prepare expectant parents for the journey through late pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum care. It covers a broad spectrum of topics, from birth planning and medical procedures to practical aspects of newborn care and comfort measures during labor. We tour the labor and delivery department and spend time in a labor room understanding equipment and labor positioning.
