CAST is a nonprofit education research and development organization that works to expand learning opportunities for all individuals through Universal Design for Learning (UDL). At CAST, we know that barriers to learning are in education design, not individual learners. We developed UDL to help break down these barriers so that all learners can shape their own learning journey and reach their potential. We elevate learning at every level with meticulous research and innovative professional development.

The CAST team includes about 50 talented employees, including world-class educators, learning scientists, instructional designers, literacy experts, policy analysts, UX and graphic designers, software engineers, and a first-rate administrative and executive staff.
