During this first portion of the class, students will watch a full demonstration of my precision cutting techniques. I will break down each step, explain my thought process, and show how to create clean lines, balance, and movement in the haircut. Students are encouraged to take notes, observe my sectioning, body positioning, and tool control, and ask questions throughout this segment. This hands-off session is designed to build a strong foundation before moving into the hands-on portion after the break.

Hands On

In this hands-on portion, each student will practice the techniques learned during the demonstration on a live model. I will guide you through sectioning, creating your guideline, building shape, and refining the haircut in real time. Students will receive individualized coaching and correction to help strengthen muscle memory, improve precision, and build confidence behind the chair. Please have your live model arrive on time and with clean, dry, straight hair. This segment is designed to give you practical, real-world experience so you leave fully prepared to apply these methods in your own work.
