About this event

If you have not yet done your Initial Counseling (IC), you are not ready to schedule your Pre-Separation Counseling class. Click HERE (or manually type in the URL, miramartrsappointments.as.me) to schedule your Initial Counseling.

Pre-Separation Counseling is a two-hour class facilitated by MCCS Miramar staff and is designed to provide an overview of the Transition Readiness Seminar (TRS) and benefits earned as a result of time in service. This mandatory requirement cannot be waived and must be completed prior to registration/entry to the Transition Readiness Seminar. Retirees may attend Pre-separation Counseling up to 24 months prior to EAS but must do so no later than 12 months from EAS. Separating service members may complete this component up to 18 months prior to EAS but must do so no later than 12 months from EAS.
