Overview

Join Abp Cordileone to pray the extraordinary new Litany to Our Lady of Guadalupe, and learn about our trip to Tepeyac with MOTA!

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, join Archbishop Cordileone to pray the Litany to Our Lady of Guadalupe, text by James Matthew Wilson. The new litany is part of the Home Enthronement Kit we're distributing as part of Project Guadalupe 2031, our response to Pope Francis's call to prepare for the 500th anniversay of Our Lady of Guadalupe's appearance to Juan Diego at Tepeyac. You can request the Home Enthronement kit at this website.

Speaking of Tepeyac, on October 7th, BXVI led a pilgrimage down to Mexico City, where Frank La Rocca's Mass of the America's was celebrated. It was an incredible, life changing event for those who came:

Here's Dr. Arturo Rocha, an archeologist, Guadalupe historian/expert, and musical authority: "I have been to hundreds of Masses here - great Masses with orchestra for visiting dignitaries — but never have I ever heard such beauty, in this place. I have never heard such profound and intimate music as on this occasion."

"The Old Basilica opened in 1709, so we’re talking about hundreds of years. It (Mass of the Americas) has been already written in the musical annals of the Basilica."

Richard Carrillo, conductor for the Mass: "It is hard to put into words what was experienced. The convergence of the beauty of Frank’s score, the heart and work of all of the musicians, the prayers of the faithful, and most importantly being in the presence of the actual tilma during and being able to receive our Lord in the Eucharist, made for an experience I have yet to be able to fully process. So many of the musician pilgrims continued to express how touched they were by the whole experience. Jubilate Tours masterfully created a schedule that was filled with prayer, music making, and taking in the various components of the Mass, which made it come even more alive. And as if the Mass at the Basilica wasn’t enough, to perform the concert version on the second night in the presence of the the relics of one of Mexico’s greatest martyrs, allowed even this “concert” be an experience and method of prayer. The Aue Maria in the acoustics of this holy place moved me to tears in ways I have never been moved before with this piece. Seeing the Mexicans experience this Mass for the first time and how honored they were, show to the true unity of our Catholic brethren. Even the instrumentalists, who often are known to see concerts like this as merely paid gigs, expressed how intimate this Mass felt to them, and how it provided healing they didn’t even know they needed. (Many of whom where also moved to tears.) As the concert finished, there was nearly 10 seconds of silence as no one wanted to interrupt what the Spirit was doing throughout the work.I am just filled with so much gratitude. It took truly a team to make this happen and it was humbling to be a part of this from each step of the way. So many thanks to Frank, the Benedict XVI Institute, Jubliate Tours, and most importantly to Our Lady, St. Juan Diego, and Bl. Miguel Pro, (who I implored as the patrons of this experience) for all the work and prayers to make this dream a reality."

And from Frank La Rocca himself: "It exceeded my and everybody’s highest expectations. Many, many people commented on how the very air seemed to change. The crowds were silent, you could hear weeping. The musicians were overwhelmed by the experience, too."

As you can tell from the quotes, it was an event of a lifetime for those who attended, and we'd love to share our experiences with you. Register here!
