Practicing Acceptance

You can never truly know someone else’s experience—but you can try to understand. Practicing Acceptance is a powerful, interactive event that invites the college community to explore the physical and mental challenges that individuals with disabilities may face. Through hands-on activities, meaningful conversations, and access to both campus and community resources, participants will gain valuable insight—encouraging empathy, awareness, and deeper connections throughout our campus.

The event will also include a Health Resource Fair, featuring a variety of resource tables focused on support, education, and well-being. While no activity can fully capture lived experiences, this event offers a respectful space to learn, reflect, and grow. Let’s continue working together to create a community where everyone is seen, heard, and supported.
