PTC is an evidence-based six session class which build upon each other so participants are encouraged to attend each session. This course is offered in coordination with the Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative (OABHI) and Area Agency on Aging in Coos & Curry (SCBEC) and Eastern Oregon (CAPECO). The course is facilitated by certified PTC leaders, Kai Nichols and lualhati anderson, both OABHI specialists. This virtual PTC class is open to non-paid caregivers residing in Coos & Curry or Eastern Oregon (Umatilla, Morrow, Gilliam, Wheeler, Sherman, Wasco, and Hood River).
Each session is scheduled for 1.5 hrs. with different topics per session. All meetings will be virtual and will require participants to have access to an email, speaker/mic and web camera (either part of participant laptop/computer) or separate webcam accessory.
