Overview

Powered Up Conference returns to the London Transport Museum on Wednesday 21 January 2026

This Year’s Theme

Finance, Fleet & the Future of Clean Mobility

This year’s Powered Up will explore the commercial and operational side of the transition — how investment, fleet innovation, and finance models are accelerating the shift to clean mobility. From scalable funding solutions and corporate electrification to smarter asset management and risk, we’ll unpack how the next stage of the EV revolution will be paid for, managed, and delivered.

The event isn’t open to all – but anyone can apply. Every delegate request is reviewed, and only those actively contributing to the EV space, policymaking, infrastructure, fleet management or finance will be granted access. The goal is to ensure the right people are in the room – those who can challenge, collaborate, and create real progress.

Across five curated panels, guests will hear from leading voices in finance, fleet, infrastructure, and policy. There’ll also be keynote insights, sector updates, and plenty of time to connect with other senior delegates during our welcome gallery walk and closing drinks reception.

Powered Up isn’t just a talking shop – it’s where the conversations become commitments.

We’re bringing together key voices from across the electric vehicle ecosystem — finance leaders, fleet operators, infrastructure providers, local authorities, policymakers and innovators — all under one roof. The focus? What needs to happen now to make clean mobility scalable, investable, and future-ready.

Powered Up isn’t open to everyone — and that’s the point. Delegates are carefully selected to ensure the right mix of experience, influence and relevance in the room. Anyone can apply to attend, but only those actively shaping the transition — through investment, innovation, or delivery — will be accepted.

This is not just another industry conference. It’s a working session for those serious about change.

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, the event is designed to drive meaningful interaction. Starting with a welcome reception and gallery walk, guests will be able to connect with fellow attendees, view a visual recap of previous Powered Up events, and dive straight into conversation.

Five expert panels run across the afternoon, covering the most critical areas of the transition: (all TBC, subject to change)

  • Financing the Transition: How public and private investment are driving the EV shift – and where the next wave of capital will come from.
  • Fleet Futures: How major operators are electrifying at scale – lessons from logistics, leasing, and corporate mobility.
  • Smart Infrastructure: Building and maintaining charging networks that work for both public users and commercial fleets.
  • Innovation & Policy: Balancing regulation, incentives, and technology to speed up adoption while ensuring value for money.
  • Energy & Risk: Managing grid impact, pricing, and insurance in a rapidly evolving market.

Each session features a mix of public and private sector voices, chaired by experienced hosts who keep the conversation practical, insightful, and – most importantly – solution-focused.

We close the day with drinks and informal networking just a short walk away, allowing time to reflect and build relationships away from the main room.

Why Attend?

Because finance is now the fuel driving the EV transition.

With net zero deadlines approaching and investment models evolving fast, it’s more important than ever to gather the right people and make space for honest, impactful discussion.

Whether you’re managing a fleet, funding the next phase of infrastructure, or innovating in finance, energy or policy, Powered Up puts you in the room with others doing the same.

It’s not about ticking boxes. It’s about unlocking action.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome applications from across the UK and beyond. Typical attendees include:

  • Fleet and leasing leaders
  • Finance and investment professionals
  • Local and national government representatives
  • Charging and infrastructure providers
  • Energy and grid specialists
  • Automotive and logistics innovators
  • Policy, planning and sustainability experts

Applications are now open. Every application is reviewed manually to ensure a diverse and relevant mix of voices. Spaces are limited and prioritised based on contribution to the sector.
