Powered UP - Finance, Fleet & the Future of Clean Mobility

Overview

Powered Up Conference returns to the London Transport Museum on Wednesday 21 January 2026

This Year’s Theme

Finance, Fleet & the Future of Clean Mobility

This year’s Powered Up will explore the commercial and operational side of the transition — how investment, fleet innovation, and finance models are accelerating the shift to clean mobility. From scalable funding solutions and corporate electrification to smarter asset management and risk, we’ll unpack how the next stage of the EV revolution will be paid for, managed, and delivered.

The event isn’t open to all – but anyone can apply. Every delegate request is reviewed, and only those actively contributing to the EV space, policymaking, infrastructure, fleet management, or finance will be granted access. The goal is to ensure the right people are in the room – those who can challenge, collaborate, and create real progress.

Across four confirmed panels (with a fifth to be announced), guests will hear from leading voices in finance, fleet, infrastructure, and policy. There’ll also be keynote insights, sector updates, and plenty of time to connect with other senior delegates during our welcome gallery walk and closing drinks reception.

Powered Up isn’t just a talking shop – it’s where the conversations become commitments.

We’re bringing together key voices from across the electric vehicle ecosystem — finance leaders, fleet operators, infrastructure providers, local authorities, policymakers and innovators — all under one roof. The focus? What needs to happen now to make clean mobility scalable, investable, and future-ready.

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, the event is designed to drive meaningful interaction. Starting with a welcome reception and gallery walk, guests can connect with fellow attendees, view a visual recap of previous Powered Up events, and dive straight into conversation.

Speakers:
Simon King, Partner, Edenseven
Lauren Pamma, Head of Energy & Infrastructure Financing, Aldermore Bank
Tali Trigg, Principal, Green Cities, EBRD
Andrew New, CEO, Close Brothers

This session explores how public incentives, private investment, and ESG funds are driving EV adoption. Panellists will discuss how capital mobilisation across infrastructure, fleets, and technology is accelerating the transition — and the balance between risk, ROI, and collaboration needed to make it happen.

Panel 2: Fleet Futures – Financing Electrification at Scale

Moderator: Chris Pritchett, Co-Head of Energy & Infrastructure, Shoosmiths
Speakers:
Jonny Berry, Head of Decarbonisation, Innovation & Strategy, Novuna Vehicle Solutions

This session examines how policy, technology, and finance come together to create reliable and scalable charging networks. Panellists will discuss interoperability, network resilience, and strategic funding partnerships that ensure both fleets and the public have the confidence to go electric.

Panel 4: Closing the Loop – Sustainable EV Finance and Circularity

Moderator: Kate Tyrrell, Head of Marketing, 3ti
Speakers:
Robin Brundle, Chairman, Recyclus Group
Dr Isobel Sheldon OBE, Founder, Western-Cam Andrew New, Head of National Accounts & ESG Lending, Tanya Sinclair, CEO, Electric Vehicles UK

This panel explores how finance and sustainability intersect to extend the life of EV infrastructure. The conversation covers second-life batteries, circular supply chains, recycling, and strategies for value recovery, maintenance, and end-of-life management.

Panel 5: To Be Confirmed

Final details to be announced soon — expect a forward-looking session connecting industry leaders across innovation, policy, and energy transition.

Each session features a mix of public and private sector voices, chaired by experienced hosts who keep the conversation practical, insightful, and – most importantly – solution-focused.

We close the day with drinks and informal networking just a short walk away, allowing time to reflect and build relationships away from the main room.

Why Attend?

Because finance is now the fuel driving the EV transition.

With net zero deadlines approaching and investment models evolving fast, it’s more important than ever to gather the right people and make space for honest, impactful discussion.

Whether you’re managing a fleet, funding the next phase of infrastructure, or innovating in finance, energy, or policy, Powered Up puts you in the room with others doing the same.

It’s not about ticking boxes. It’s about unlocking action.
