Nina Pee is a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor, ACE Group Fitness Instructor and holds over 100+ hours of training in Myofascial Integrated Alignment and Stretching. Her classes blend her diverse range of experiences: the fluidity of dance, the raw strength and intensity of boxing, and the mindfulness of yoga--all while having fun. When she's not guiding classes, you might find her spinning the decks as a house DJ, so you can always expect her music to be on point. Join Nina for a class where movement meets motivation and every session is an opportunity to connect with your best self.

She specializes in "Myofascial Integrated Alignment" yoga (aka M.I.A.). M.I.A. yoga is a movement based class that combines traditional yoga principles with modern understanding of anatomy and physiology, particularly focusing on the interconnectedness of the myofascial system. Think a challenging , but non-traditional vinyasa flow-style class!

Goal of MIA/MIS:

  • Restore the bodies natural balance
  • Feel good in the body!!!
  • Create glide in the fascia to allow layers to move more smoothly
  • Increase muscle pliability
  • Strengthen joints, ligaments and tendons
  • Reduce susceptibility to injury
  • HAVE FUN! (We get weird)

What this class IS:

  • Sensation-based movement
  • Strength, mobility and pliability training of fascial properties to allow for growth, healing and overall well-being
  • Incorporation of non traditional yoga movements (dance, Qigong, martial arts, animal movements, calisthenics, gymnastics)
  • A challenging and fun, yet attainable approach to yoga

What this class is NOT:

  • Traditional yoga with strict anatomical aesthetics
  • Spiritual or philosophical teaching
  • Yin

Simply stated: Get ready to have FUN!
