About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Worksystems’ Employer Training Series for Frontline Supervisors exists to:

  • Help employers improve retention rates
  • Reduce turnover costs (and related impacts)
  • Create positive work experiences for employees
  • Support workers to develop longer employment histories
  • Move workers from entry-wage work into living-wage work

There are four independent modules that comprise this training series, including:

  • Best Practices in Youth Management to Increase Retention
  • Retention Barriers Facing Low-Income Workers
  • Power Dynamics in the Workplace
  • Trauma-Informed Care Practices in the Workplace

Each training includes traditional presentation delivery, interactive activities, and video content featuring worksite supervisors who excel at managing youth staff, youth advocates in roles supporting case loads of multiple youth and, of course, youth employees themselves.

Attendance is free and promoting the training to your colleagues and professional network is strongly encouraged. We look forward to seeing you there!
