Pottery Class- Wheel for Beginners

Get your hands dirty (in the best way possible) at Crafted Art Club’s Beginner Pottery on the Wheel workshop! For ages 18 and up.

In this 2-hour class, you’ll learn the basics of centering clay, shaping forms, and creating your very first wheel-thrown pottery piece—all in a relaxed, creative environment. Our expert ceramic artist will guide you step by step, so no experience is needed.

We’ll handle the glazing and firing for you, and your finished piece will be ready for pickup about 10 business days after class.

This class is perfect for first-timers, creative date nights, or anyone looking for a new hobby that’s equal parts chill and challenging.

BYOB-Friendly + All Materials Provided: Bring your favorite drink (21+) and we’ll provide everything else— aprons, clay, tools, instruction, and good vibes.

What to Bring:

• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy (pottery can splash a little!)
• Short nails are best for working with clay
• A drink if you’d like (21+ BYOB friendly)
• Your sense of humor and patience—wheel throwing takes practice!

Important Notes:

• For ages 18 and up
• Each participant will make 2-3 pieces and choose one to keep
• Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in about 10 business days. We’ll store your work safely for up to one month after completion.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before class (we prep materials and plan with you in mind!).
