Pottery Class- Handbuilding for Beginners

Slow down, relax, and create something beautiful—by hand (for ages 18 and up).

In this 2-hour beginner-friendly pottery class, you’ll learn the foundations of handbuilding: pinch pots, coils, and slabs. Our expert ceramic artist will guide you through each step as you shape and customize your own functional or decorative pottery piece (cups, plates, etc.).

No wheel, no stress—just clay, creativity, and great company. We’ll handle the glazing and firing for you, and your finished piece will be ready for pickup about 10 business days after class.

Perfect for beginners, friend groups, or anyone wanting a fun, hands-on night out!

BYOB-Friendly + All Materials Provided: Bring your favorite drink (21+) and we’ll provide everything else— aprons, clay, tools, instruction, and good vibes.

What to Bring:

• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy (pottery can splash a little!)
• Short nails are best for working with clay
• A drink if you’d like (21+ BYOB friendly)
• Curiosity and a willingness to experiment—this class is all about fun!

• Each participant will make their own unique piece - sculptural or functional.
• Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in about 10 business days. We’ll store your work safely for up to one month after completion.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before class (we prep materials and plan with you in mind!).
