An in-person 8 week support group for new Muslim mothers. This group is intended for mothers who are not more than 18 months postpartum.
The transition into motherhood can bring a range of feelings, like excitement and joy, alongside overwhelm and isolation. Whether you're experiencing baby blues, postpartum depression or anxiety, adjusting to your new role, or simply seeking connection, this support group will seek to provide a safe, welcoming, and compassionate space for new mothers navigating their postpartum journeys. Participants will find an environment in which they can openly share, express, and discuss their feelings and experiences regarding the emotional, physical, and overall joys and challenges of becoming a mother. This group will provide peer support, guided discussions, and helpful resources.
This group will run weekly on Sundays from 10-11 AM.
