What if I have no artistic experience?

No experience is required! All you need is a willingness to learn. The workshop is designed to be beginner-friendly and is a completely judgment-free zone.

What kind of materials will be provided?

All necessary art supplies will be provided for each class. However, you’re welcome to bring your own brushes, paints, or other favorite materials if you prefer working with them.

Do I have to attend all four weeks?

Yes. The workshop is designed as a four-week progression, with each class building on the last. After the final session, there will be an additional week before the exhibition for participants to apply what they’ve learned and add finishing touches to their paintings.

Does it have to be a dog portrait?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This workshop is centered on dog portraits. However, the skills and techniques you’ll learn such as drawing, painting, and capturing expression can be applied to any subject you choose in your own artistic expressions.

Question 6

What if I don't have a good reference photo?

Accepted Answer

No worries! I’ll provide reference materials for the workshop, including printed photographs of adoptable dogs from Lucky Puppy Rescue, so you’ll always have something great to work from.

Will there be food and drink?

Accepted Answer

Beverages including hot tea and water will be provided. Kitch-a-vibe has generously offered to provide some of their world class snacks for participants.
