A Festival of Lanterns, Mooncakes, and Heritage
The White Lotus Mid Autumn Festival is Portland’s largest Mid Autumn celebration. This holiday is one the most widely celebrated traditions across East and Southeast Asia. Also known as Tết Trung Thu (Vietnamese) or Zhong Qiu Jie (Chinese), the Mid Autumn Festival honors family reunions, gratitude, and the harvest moon.
This two-day event brings together community, tradition, and cultural appreciation through food, live performances, family activities, and more. It is a vibrant tribute to heritage and togetherness, offering a space for families, friends, and neighbors to celebrate one of the most important festivals in Asian culture.
