Bare Hands kicks off its 2025 Pop-Up Arts Class Series on Sunday, June 29! Join us for a unique, hands-on class led by skilled metal artist Julie Carpenter. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you’ll leave with an original piece of pewter art designed and crafted by you!
With Julie’s guidance, your experience will involve: pattern design using small found objects, mold making, casting, drilling, polishing, patina application, and jewelry assembly.
All supplies are provided including the artist's big collection of small found objects. Feel free to bring your own tiny objects to be used in the designing of your piece.
Spaces are very limited – reserve your spot today! Free on street parking and in back of the building. Please remember to wear closed-toe shoes.
Julie believes that metalworking is for everyone and that experiencing firsthand how metals melt and fuse together is the best beginning. She has been instructing and sharing her knowledge in this artform since 2007.
