Grab your dancing shoes! Scotland’s premier variety entertainer, Gordon Cree, is bringing Glasgow's best dance floor to life!

Gordon Cree will be taking his place at the console of Scotland’s only Wurlitzer theatre organ, housed in Pollokshaws Burgh Hall to provide the afternoon's music. From graceful waltzes to cheeky cha-chas, elegant foxtrots to spirited ceilidh sets, this is your chance to glide, twirl, and step out in style to the thrilling sound of a true showman.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just love great music, this pop-up ballroom promises a good time for everyone. The hall will be alive with energy, nostalgia, and a bit of showbiz sparkle – all powered by Gordon’s signature flair and the glorious voice of the mighty Wurlitzer organ.

Gordon Cree is a renowned Scottish musician, composer, and entertainer whose career spans nearly four decades. Classically trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, he works across genres including classical, jazz, traditional Scottish music, and musical theatre. A celebrated pianist, organist, and singer, Gordon has collaborated with major orchestras and artists such as Marilyn Horne and Dame Vera Lynn, and has performed widely as a soloist and accompanist.

His compositions and arrangements are performed internationally, and his recent projects include conducting the first full orchestral performance of Sir Granville Bantock’s The Seal Woman and making his BBC Proms debut in 2024. Gordon is also a prolific recording artist, a regular cruise ship performer, and a sought-after speaker and compère. He currently serves as organist at St. Andrew’s West Parish Church, and holds leadership roles in several Scottish cultural organisations.
