About this event

We invite you to join us to experience this 360 degree presentation under the stars in the immersive full dome space of the University of Colorado’s Fiske Planetarium. Immediately following the Polynesian Navigation presentation there will be another presentation featuring high-resolution ‘fly-throughs’ of our Solar System and Galaxy using pictures from NASA and the Hubble Telescope. Both presentations will feature the state of the art, full dome projection system of one of the best Planetariums in the Western U.S.

The presenter, Dr. John Stocke, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado where he taught for over 30 years. While there, he co-initiated the undergraduate Astronomy major which is now the largest in the country.

Event is Free; limited seating; 2 ticket limit per Mason; If you want to invite more people than that please email Martin Sugg at msugg@wkre.com to see if there is still room to add them to the Guest List. Dress is business casual.

Please note: Doors open at 3:15. Show starts at 4:00. Arrive at least 1/2 hour early!! Give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the Planetarium. We cannot admit people after the presentation starts at 4:00pm because opening the doors illuminates the Planetarium while the presentation is in progress.
