About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County Master Gardener Volunteers to learn all about pollinators. We will be talking about who the pollinators are and how to attract them to your yard, the right plants and other things they need to thrive. We will provide and updates on monarchs (one of our favorite pollinators to see in the garden) and milkweed plants. You'll have the opportunity to create a small pollinator hotel. Easy and so much fun to watch! Pollinator Week is June 16-23, so get an early start on your celebration! There is an option to purchase a separate ticket to create a pollinator container garden to add beauty and get a jumpstart on bringing pollinators to your yard.
