Get your hands dirty and contribute to real science! Join us for a special volunteer day at Blue Heron Nature Preserve where you’ll help care for the land and take part in a citizen science project that supports pollinator conservation across Georgia.

First, you’ll participate in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, an accessible pollinator survey that empowers everyday people to help track the health of bees, butterflies, wasps, and other essential pollinators. Your observations will directly contribute to statewide efforts to protect these vital species. After that, it's on to tending our beautiful urban greenspace!

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to citizen science, you’ll leave the day with new knowledge, new skills, and the satisfaction of making a meaningful difference.
