Join us in Brussels for the ToCoReRaM Policy Workshop on Raw Material Recovery in SMEs, a key event bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and research experts to advance Europe’s transition toward a circular economy focusing on rawmaterial recovery.

About ToCoReRaM
The ToCoReRaM (Tool for Complete Recovery of Raw Materials) project aims to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to integrate raw material recovery into their product development and business strategies. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) under the EURENI programme, the project brings together a consortium of leading European research institutions and industry partners dedicated to developing tools and strategies for sustainable resource use.

About the Workshop
This interactive workshop will:

  • Present first insights from SME surveys and interviews conducted across Europe.
  • Introduce early concepts for a practical tool supporting raw material recovery in SMEs.
  • Discuss training needs for companies and consumers to strengthen circular skills.
  • Explore the implementation of EU strategies such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and the Digital Product Passport.
  • Host a high-level roundtable on policy measures to accelerate SMEs’ role in circular innovation.

Who Should Attend
This event welcomes policymakers, SME representatives, industry stakeholders, researchers, and sustainability practitioners interested in shaping Europe’s raw material recovery strategies.

A light lunch with tea and coffee will be provided for all participants.
