Poe on the Rocks
Local Triad actors Mark March and Jim McKeny created "Poe on the Rocks" for Joyner's Bar in Winston-Salem as a unique way to celebrate Edgar Allan Poe's macabre prose & poetry, with a slightly different and funny twist for adults 21+.
"Poe on the Rocks" is an intimate drunken Poe experience! As you the audience are enjoying Poe themed crafted cocktails, so are the Actors who are performing for you. This adds a touch of silly merriment that other Poe presentations just don't have.
Now, we are bringing "Poe on the Rocks" to The Quarter in Greensboro. This beautiful atmospheric New Orleans style bar, complete with sprawling moss filled oak trees, is the perfect setting for some spooky fun.
Join Mark, Jim and the "Poe on the Rocks" players for an evening of "drunken Poe" shenanigans as they bring some of the Gothic Master's best loved literary works to life...or death, if you prefer.
