We’re thrilled to announce the second-ever Poconos Horror Fest, a celebration of indie horror in the heart of the beautiful Pocono Mountains!
The community's scariest film festival this side of the Delaware Water Gap returns to the Pocono Cinema & Cultural Center on October 11, 2025!
Features will be shown from the following categories:
- Best Horror Short (under 30 minutes)
- Best International Horror Short (under 30 minutes)
- Best Local Artist Horror Short (under 30 minutes)
- Best Student Horror Short (under 30 minutes)
- Best Feature (over 60 minutes)

For nearly 20 years, we’ve been making independent films right here in the Poconos, and now we’re bringing a festival to showcase the best in horror cinema. We’d love for the local community to help continue making this a grassroots success!
