Termite Foundations, focus on subterranean termites, building construction elements, treatments according to the label. Please make sure that the attendee’s email address is entered at registration. Not the office email address. Lunch pre-orders and pre/post tests will be delivered to the student directly using the student’s email address.

Program Comments: This course includes a lecture and hands-on portion. It is 2.5 days long and is team taught by FDACS, industry experts, and UF/IFAS.

This course is designed to teach the basics of termite biology and behavior with an emphasis on subterranean termites. We cover building construction elements and treatment techniques in the context of label directions, walk through soil termiticide calculations of different slab types, and cover Florida Statute 482 and 5E-14 with particular reference to vehicle inspections. We also cover pesticide safety and do a practice spill clean-up.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Full refund up to 7 days before the class.
  • There is a 50% cancellation fee 2 to 6 days before the class.
  • No refunds the day before or the day of the event (including no shows).
