About this event
Please Don’t F*ck the Funny Out of Me is a stand-up special thesis defense presentation about why I, Ishika Muchhal, cannot at any cost let someone fuck the funny out of me. Have I done a master's or PhD? No. Am I a straight-A girlie who won her 11th-grade science fair and will ride that high until I die? Absolutely.
Here is what you need to know: I am a 25-year-old Indian American woman, and I have never had sex. And this fact used to bother me until I realized (based on years of data collection and statistically significant evidence) that if I have sex, I will no longer be funny. And therefore, this is my thesis defense presentation for the hypothesis that I cannot, at any cost, let someone fuck the funny out of me.
Topics include: sex (or lack thereof), dating, subtle racial & economic commentary, flirting techniques, lore that makes you wonder - is she ok?, characteristics and case studies to back said characteristics, puns, and a healthy dose of relatability because who hasn’t been on a bad date? (If you have not, please tell me your ways after the show).

"Ishika’s set is so smooth and effortless. She keeps the laughs coming, with just enough space in between to breathe before you’re crackin up again." - Levi

"Hilarious and heartfelt from start to finish, Ishika shines in a story only she could tell." - Aaron
