Playtime Reading Series Presents "The Machu Picchu Play"

By Power Street Theatre

Overview

A bold new play about identity, prophecy, and resistance, where the sacred meets the revolutionary.

In a dystopian near-future, two American tourists are stranded atop Machu Picchu during a violent protest. Centuries earlier on the same mountain, a third-gender oracle and their apprentice foresee the collapse of the Inca Empire. As both timelines spiral toward destruction, the past and present begin to intertwine in unexpected ways.

Join us for a powerful night of performance from Tyler Rocio Ecoña, directed by Erlina Ortiz.
