"Playlist" is a free, accessible 10 class Dance & Learn series designed for teens and adults (ages 16-99+) with a focus on movement from the inside out. The Bronx Edition embodies the vibrant spirit and diverse heritage of dance from around the world, inviting participants to embark on an exhilarating journey through the rich artistry of three powerful genres:
BOMBA with Daniella Hernandez “The Dance Doctor” and “Dr Drum” Jose Ortiz
On Wednesdays: October 1st, October 22nd, November 12th
BALLET with “Zelle” (Elizabeth) Allyson Crawford
On Wednesdays: October 8th, October 29th, November 19th
HIP HOP with Angel Gomez “The Poet”
On Wednesdays: October 15th, November 5th, December 3rd
Rehearsal Class on Wednesday December 10th
Drop in to any class and focus on your favorite style or join all three and experience the joy of fusion! Our unique teaching approach fosters creativity, cultural understanding, and physical well-being, demonstrating how the arts can be a powerful tool for positive community development. Classes are FREE and no prior dance experience is necessary – we welcome everyone eager to learn, move, and connect!
