A commonplace notebook can be so many things.

A sort of messy art journal that leads to writing is what I do with it.

I am not at artist. I'm a writer but commonplace notebooks have been such a fun way for this non-artist to play with design, collage, and words.

Just show up with a glue stick and a composition notebook, maybe some ephemera you like. This is a chill fun time to play with a notebook.
