ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Rosalind "Roz" Zavras (she/her)

"Rosalind 'Roz' Zavras is an experienced non-profit operations expert with about 20 years of experience building operational infrastructure for global and local social impact organizations. She has a talent for identifying systemic challenges and designing new strategies to overcome them. From building a grant tracking strategy for a community foundation to creating an individual giving strategy for a grants funded agency, Roz enjoys working with organizations build community-centered plans for growth. She has helped organizations land millions of dollars in grants, execute effective events, and build a major donor campaign. With a Masters in Law and Diplomacy and a Bachelors in Economics & Mathematics, as well as advanced work in racial basis, Roz brings an equity-focused, multidisciplinary approach to her work. In 2022, she founded Aropa Consulting, a human-centered management advisory firm the uses equity and community-centered approaches to support organizations with technology, strategy and fundraising."
