Join Maryland Public Television (MPT) for Early Learning Social, a monthly virtual gathering designed for early educators. Connect with peers in interactive discussions, share valuable resources, and enhance your teaching skills. Throughout 2025, our free training series will offer an in-depth exploration of the Maryland Early Learning Standards, covering each of the five learning domains across two sessions. In June, the focus will be on resources and strategies you can use to build language and literacy skills.
Attend the June session, and come ready to collaborate with peers as you:
- Learn how to plan developmentally appropriate lessons and activities using free content and resources from MPT and PBS KIDS
- Gain tips and strategies to build emerging media literacy skills in your classroom
- Discover how to easily integrate high-quality educational media from PBS KIDS into your teaching toolkit
- Earn 2 COK hours towards your training requirement

- The Zoom link for the training session will be delivered on the day of the training. Look for your email two hours before the session.
- Training begins promptly at 6:30pm.
- Active online attendance and completion of an evaluation and assessment form are required to earn training certificates.
