Event description
A discussion about honoring history through preservation as Philly evolves and new development changes the built environment.

About this Event

Culture is deeply connected to place. As Philadelphia evolves, through rehabs and construction, we look for ways to honor the city’s history through preserving places of interest, especially sites that are culturally significant.

Join PlanPhilly for a discussion among preservationists, developers, activists and community members about the challenges and importance of preserving places. Learn more about what's being done to protect sites that speak to our collective histories and future narratives.

Panelists: Ori Feibush (OFC), Paul Farber (Monument Lab), Faye Anderson (All That Philly Jazz) and Karen Olivier (Tyler School of Art)

Moderator: Ariella Cohen, PlanPhilly
