About Double Dutch Queen
An encouraging and vibrant new picture book about a young girl finding the bravery to try something she isn't good at, perfect for fans of Jabari Jumps. Shay's family gathers together for a fun summer party, but all they want to do is double dutch the day away. Unfortunately, Shay isn't very good at jumping rope and always gets tangled. Luckily, with some support from her family, Shay is able to find her courage. All she has to do is jump in! DeAnn Wiley returns with another author-illustrator project that's an accessible and motivating story about overcoming fear and taking a chance.
