Big Brothers Big Sisters Volunteer Information Session

Interested in making a difference in a child's life? Join us at our Volunteer Information Session to learn more about becoming a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. This is your chance to ask questions, meet current volunteers, and discover how you can positively impact a child in need. The event will be held at Ale Smith in Miramar. Who can be a Big?

Any San Diego County Resident, 18 years or older, with a valid SSN, driver's license, and access to reliable transportation, who can pass a background check.

What is the time commitment?

Twice a month for 2 hours, 6-month minimum commitment.

What is the current wait to become a Big?

We very much need Big Brothers as a majority of Littles on our waitlist are boys. We are also in need of Spanish speakers. The wait is longer to become a Big Sister. The timeline depends on your location and your preferences.
