About this event

Join us for a fun day at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium!

As part of our 2023 One Book, One Community join us at 10:30 a.m. at the Educational Center for a special program about how the zoo transports animals, followed by a Q & A with the giraffe keepers.

Reduced admission ($15/adult) includes all-day admission, parking, and special programs. The zoo's hours of operations are tentatively 9:30 - 4:30, attendees are welcome to stay as long as desired following the program. The library will provide a wristband needed for admittance prior to the date of the event.

Recommended for ages 8 and up. Please note, the zoo requires a minimum of 15 attendees for the group admission rate and to host the special program.

This year's One Book, One Community selection is West with Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge.
