Port Chester is an express stop on the Metro North, roughly 45 minutes from Grand Central. The exhibition space is located one block from the train station.

"Pins and Needles" brings together work that engages with fabric and trauma. Patterning and quilting are processes that are rooted in a kind of repetition, labor, and care. These works all confront this idea and engages textiles as a method of holding complex emotions. Featuring work by SUNY Purchase Alumni + Faculty Madison Jones, Greg Wharmby, and Briana Owsiany.

The opening will coincide with the Artists Studios Open House at the Linen Factory (formerly Simons Building), which will be held on November 21st (4-8 pm) & 22nd (11 am - 5 pm).

Neptune in June (formerly Ice Cream Social) is an artist-run, nomadic curatorial and community project, originally based in Port Chester, NY. It curates exhibitions locally and across the U.S., oers interdisciplinary events, and provides educational programs to schools throughout Westchester. It connects artists across geographic and professional silos who are making ambitious and personally meaningful work.
