ABOUT THIS CLASS
Join us for a rejuvenating one-hour Pilates mat class designed for all experience levels—from first-timers to seasoned movers. Pilates is a mindful movement method that enhances coordination, strength, balance, and posture using flowing, bodyweight-based exercises.
In this session, we’ll return to the classical roots of Pilates, focusing on intentional movement that strengthens your core, increases flexibility, and supports overall well-being. This is your midweek reset—outdoors, on the mat, and with your community.
CLASS TIME & LOCATION

📍 Location: Lincoln Harbor Park – 628 Harbor Blvd (at Weehawken Farmers Market)
WHAT TO BRING
- Mat – For core work and comfortable support on the grass
- Water Bottle – Hydration = endurance
- Towel – To stay dry during deep-core activation
- Breathable Sports Attire – Move freely, feel good
- Light Jacket – Evening breezes by the water call for layers
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: MARIA K
Meet Maria K, your vibrant and experienced Pilates guide. Originally from Belarus, Maria brings over a decade of Pilates experience and a unique movement background as a former professional folk dancer. Her teaching style blends classical technique with creativity and fun.
Since moving to New York in 2021, Maria has become an active member of the New York Road Runners, completing marathons and citywide races. Her sessions are known for their uplifting energy, expert form cues, and sequences that challenge both beginners and advanced students alike.
With a deep love for movement, travel, and community, Maria’s classes will leave you feeling strong, centered, and inspired—ready to take on the rest of your week.
